The House Divided Project at Dickinson College is now putting together a series of free e-books covering biographies of little-known individuals from the Civil War era.
Here’s Professor Matt Pinsker on that series and its first installment, a biography of Southern Abolitionist John A. J. Cresswell of Maryland.
