2022 Annual Lincoln Forum – Lincoln, Race, and Citizenship

This is a really good panel at the 2022 Lincoln Forum. The panelists are Brian Mitchell, Director of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum Research and Lincoln Collection, Professor Michael Green of UNLV, and Professor James Oakes of the City University of New York, with Professor Edna Greene Medford of Howard University moderating.

The video’s description reads, “Historians discussed Abraham Lincoln’s evolving views on race and citizenship. The Lincoln Forum in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, hosted this event.”

    1. Hi, Nancy, No, I didn’t attend. C-SPAN, fortunately, taped most of the presentations.

I can’t believe that there is such a huge controversy over where the platform was in the Gettysburg! It would boggle Lincoln’s mind!!!

        1. Not so much a controversy, but using the latest technology to determine the spot.
