NCWM Lessons in History Speaker Series – Feb 23, 2019 Wayne E. Motts: Men Wearing Both Blue and Gray

Here’s National Civil War Museum CEO Wayne Motts giving an excellent presentation on men who changed sides during the Civil War.

The video’s description reads, ” ‘Wearing Both Blue and Gray’ Five Men Who Fought On Both Sides during the Civil War A unique presentation about five men who fought on both sides during the American Civil War. Four of these men were Union officers and switched sides to fight as Confederate officers, while one was a Confederate officer who later donned Union Blue.”

  1. I first met Wayne in 1990. He is one of three biggest influences in my historical studies. Great guy, excellent historian.
