Abraham Lincoln Reborn As A Vampire Slayer

Here’s an interview with author Seth Grahame-Smith about his novel, Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter. I know purists turn their noses at the mere mention of the title, but I found the book to be a lot of fun, cleverly weaving the vampire mythology into the real story of Lincoln’s life. The interview was from 2010. You can access it to listen to the interview and read the story that goes with it here. There’s also an excerpt from the novel.

  1. I’m late to the party again Al, but reviewing old messages, I had to comment on this one. I agree. The guy did his research and brought to life parts of Abe’s history very well. I too read it just for fun, but was likewise impressed by how he cleverly wove real history into his (admittedly silly) premise. Poe as a vampire was perfect. 🙂 Loved the ending too.

    Hope you have been well.

    1. Thanks, Bert. Good to hear from you.
