Interview With OAH President Earl Lewis

Here’s an interview C-SPAN did with Dr. Earl Lewis, President of the Organization of American Historians. This is an interesting discussion.

The video’s description reads, “We talked with Earl Lewis, president of the Organization of American Historians, at their annual conference in Philadelphia. He discussed trends in the field of history and his work at the Center for Social Solutions at the University of Michigan.”

  1. Al, Thanks for taking the time to share another informative interview. I liked the part where he encourages students of history to ask questions. Abbeville Institute thinks that they are experts on the Civil War, or should I say “War Between the States”, history. I wonder if they ever ask, “Why are we never asked to attend any of the OAH annual meetings? LOL
