Chancellorsville Battle Map Program

The National Park Service folks at the Fredericksburg-Spotsylvania National Battlefield Park have a great video presentation showing the overall troop movements at the Battle of Chancellorsville.

This is a great tool for students of the war to get a good grasp of the overall action at the battle.

The video’s description reads, “Watch the Battle of Chancellorsville unfold tactically on this video map program. Despite his best attempts at maneuver, Joseph Hooker’s 134,000 strong Army of the Potomac faltered in the face of Robert E. Lee’s audacious attacks with his 63,000-man Army of Northern Virginia.”
