Here’s Professor David Blight giving the Francis Biddle Lecture at Harvard Law School on Frederick Douglass. This is an excellent lecture, and while it sounds like Professor Blight is rambling in several parts, he really isn’t. That’s just the way he sounds on occasion.
The video’s description reads, “David Blight, Professor of American History at Yale University, delivered the Biddle Memorial Lecture at Harvard Law School on Nov. 9.”
The lecture ends at the 58:40 point, and for some reason the video goes back to the beginning twice for the rest of the time. You can end it at the 58:40 point and don’t worry about missing the eight or so minutes remaining.
