Abraham Lincoln and Immigration Discussion

Here’s Jason Silverman talking about his recent book, Abraham Lincoln and the Immigrant in the Concise Lincoln Library series.

The video’s description reads, “Jason H. Silverman talked about his book, Lincoln and the Immigrant. He described Abraham Lincoln’s encounters, as a lawyer and politician, with immigrants, including Haitians, Cubans, and Germans. These encounters, Silverman argued, persuaded Lincoln that immigration boosted America’s economy.”

This is pretty good.
