Supreme Court Landmark Case Dred Scott v. Sandford

Here’s a discussion of the Supreme Court case of Dred Scott v. Sandford. The video’s description says, “Guests talked about the 1857 Supreme Court case Dred Scott v. Sandford, in which the court sided 7-2 with slavery and declared that Dred Scott and other blacks could not be citizens of the U.S., and that Congress lacked the authority to prohibit slavery in the territories. The guests also responded to viewer questions and comments.”

This is an important case, and the discussion is pretty well done.
