The Jackson No One Knew

Here’s Professor James I. Robertson, Jr. at the Roanoke Valley History Museum in May of 1997 speaking on his biography of Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson.  As always, Professor Robertson’s lecture is awesome.

I truly enjoyed this one. Made the indoor bike ride just fly by. Now I’m gonna have to dig up a copy of the Stonewall bio. Read it once years ago and it worked out that I had to make a business trip to the Shenandoah Valley at the same time.

As you say, “awesome.” I have two other books on Jackson but not this one. Hopefully it’s not too late to add it to my Christmas “wish list.” Another great presentation, Al. One of the best ever. I know I’ve written this to you before but it bears repeating — how much I enjoy the video programs you post and recommend. Don’t stop.

Excellent lecture, although at times I thought I was listening to a sermon.
